Blenheim, last night. In the New Zealand egg-laying competition the total for the fourteenth week is 2166. This brings the grand aggregate up to 14,899, and the weekly average to 21 85. Leger’s white leghorns from Levin still lead with 30 for the week, and an aggregate of 377. Brooke’s white leghorns from South Australia are second with 25 and 348 Draper’s buff leghorns passed into third place with 29 and 273. The first prize for July, monthly results, was won by Leger, witb 139 ; Marlborough A. and P. Association second with 136. On July 31st, which completed tho first three calendar months, Leger was lending with 356 ; Brookes second with 330., These figures compare more tbaa favorably with those of Furrow, Hawkesbury College, j where 318 wero recorded by the loading J:
