(Per Press Association.) ' Wellington, yesterday. After the telegraph office closed, and Mr Mander having spoken, the financial debate, was adjourned, and the House rose at 1 a.m. . . The House mot at 2.30. * The Premier read communications from the Treasury Department stating: (1) That’there was not a trace-of any voucher having - passed through the Treasury as payment out of public moneys for a wreath for the lata Hon. Walker’s funeral, with Ministers’ names on tbe faco of it ; and (2) that there was no record of any payment to Captain Seddon for organisation of the defence stores. The debate on the Financial Statement was carried on by Messrs Hogg, Hawkins, and Herdman. - 1 * j (EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30. The Financial debate was carried.on throughout the evening by Messrs Herdman, Mills, Jaa, Allan, J. C. Thomson and Sir J. G. Ward.
