SUB-INSPECTOR BLACK’S SENSATIONAL EVIDENCE.
.(Per Press Association.) ' Auckland, last night. Sub-Inspector Black gave sensational evidence regarding his relations with Inspector Cullen before the Police Commission to day. He related various unpleasant incidents, and stated that things grew worse end worse, until On one occasion Cullen ordered him ou£ of the room as if he were a vagraat dog or a criminal, and they ceased to speak except when business absolutely required it. He algo s»id a system of espionage existed in the force, and that Cullen had documents bearing on the careers of certain citizens which he (Cnllen) would use when matters came to a head between these men and himself. Black had applied for removal and placed 6he whole matter before the Commissioner of Police, to whom Cnllen had reported 4hat Black was incompetent.
