RobertsoD, said tho extremes that were gone to in this direction were positively ridiculous. He understood that it did not go too well with teachers who failed to show enthusiasm for cadet business, Tno boys’ time wonld be much better spent at physical exercise than in such military show. J

The Education Board tq-day discussed the method of electing members, and Mr Kebbell moved : (1) That tho Wellington Education Board District be divided iinfco nine single electorates for tho purpose of electing members, and (2) that members be elected as at present by committees. The first clause was carried unanimously, but Messrs Hogg and Field, M.’sH.R., voted against t-ho second clause. Ifc was' resolved to forward a resolution to other Boards to elicit from them their opinions on the proposition.
