COMPENSATION CLAIM.
(Per Pboss Association.) Dunedin, last night. - The Arbitration Court hod a compensation case before it to-day, in which a claim Was made on bohslf of two infants in respect of iheir brother, a lad barely 15 years old, who was killed by being thrown from a horse while in the employ of respondent, a butcher at Kaitangata. The parents wore both dead, and the children went to live with their married sister. A brother of the infants, a fisherman at Bluff, barely earned sufficient to support himself- Deceased, who was 12 years old when bi 3 mother died, worked for a time at the Bluff and Invercargill, and then at Kaitangata, and, it was alleged, sent his married sister, for the support of the children, £8 out of £9 13s 6d ho had received. The Court made an order for the payment of £52, plus funeral expenses, and £7 7s coats.
