Christchurch, last night. At the Addingtou Yards there wore fair ontcies of stock, and a good attendance. The storo sheop entered mat with a good demand, and the best fat iambs sold at tbc provtous week’s price, while unfinished sorts were again easier. Fat wethers and owes showed a decline, and prime beef brought last week’s rates. There was a poor sale of storo cattle and a moderate demand for dairy bows. Fat pigs were oasior, and stores were not in very keen doraF-iad. Storo sheep—Only a few lots of wethers and fwos were offered and they sold well. 99 four, six and eight tooth ewes made 26s 7d, SIS aged 14s, 93 merino 83 Id, 06 wethers ISs lid, aud 483 brought 16s lOd to-l Ts. . Fat lambs —There was a small yard ng ■of mostly unfinished sorts, which were again easier, while any well finished lot 3 brought the previous week's rates, though there was not much competition. Tegs made 19a 6d to 21s 6d, and standard weights 16s to 19s.

Fat sheep—The entry of fat sheop was not so largo as the previous week’s, and they were again mostly wethers. There wore only a few oxport buyers operating, and.though the market opened rery well wethers upon tho whole declined Is to Is 6d par head, and there tv as a further drop in the value ol ewes, especially medium and inferior sorts. The prices were.as follows :—Prime wethers 23s to 26s 6d, others 18s 3d to 22s Gd, prims heavy owes 20s to 22s 64, medium 17s 6d to 21s fid, aged 14s to 17s, good merino w-others 17s to 18.?. Fat cattle—There was an entry of 175, the bulk being steers. Tber3 was a fair demand, and prime beef maintained its value. |Wbile medium and inferior were rather oasior. ©no 3teer made £l3 10->, five brought from £6 15s to £8 15s, 16 from £lO 2s 6d to £l2, and 12 from £7 5s to £8 53, other steers brought £6 7s 6d to £lO 12s Gd. heifers £4 17s 6d to £7, and cows £4,10s to £7 23 6d, equal to 2ls lo to 235, and medium to good 17s to 20s por 1001 b. A fair entry of veal calves sold at 7s 6d to £2los. . •j Store and dairy cattle.—A few odd lots /of store cattle changed hands at compara- ' tively low rates. ’ There was a fairly large entry of medium dairy cows, which sold up to £7 17s 6d.

Figs.—There was a medium yarding, a, few of which wore primo haeoners. Fats were easier than the previous week, and there was only a moderate demand for stores. Bacouers made 4<Js to 50s, equal to 3£d to 3jd per lb ; porkers 24s to 335, equal to 33d to 4d per lb ; largo storoa 20s to 245, medium 13s to 18s, aud small 10s 6d to 12s'6d. ■ . -V; ‘
