Lytu-, in reply, slid the Government intended !o exteud the buuuty for a substantial torm, but he was unable to gay for how long. The Labor Conference adopted tho principle of civil equality of men und womon, and decided so add a progressive tax on unimproved land values to its fighting platform ; also that t-ho Labor movement be brought iulo organised relationship with international movements. Steps wire taken to secure Australia’s representation at tho next international conference.
