A WEST COAST FISH.

iPer Press AasociatrosO Hokitika, last night. A. large fish was found alive on the sea fcaach yesterday in perfect condition, with the exception that a portion of the tail W*s missing. It measures 12ft 6in in length, 17ft deep, and sio through. It is identified ' with Bank’s ribbon fish, illnsteated in Lydekker’s “ Boyal Natural History,” except that it has anglers or feelers. Specimens are stated to be very rare, only 15 finds having been reoorded. The fish ie on exhibition, and is proving a considerable attraction.
