FATAL ACCIDENT.
(Pet Press Association.) A.uckland, last night. A 3 a carter named John Thomas Meek, aged about 34 years, io tho employ of Messrs Grey and Menzios, cordial manufacturers. was about to get into bis cart in BLarangahapa road this morning, tho horsß started forward and the cart ran over him, one wheel passing across his chest. Ho was conveyed to tho Auckland hospital, whore it was found he was suffering from earious injuries, the cavity of the chest being crushed in. He died a few minutes after admission.
