German newspapers seek to shirk the I responsibility of her attitude and to I ascribe the misgivings regarding the maintenance of peace to articles in the British press. Paris, June 26. Lo Temps’ Berlin correspondent reports that opinion on the whole is paoific. Confidence is felt of France’s desire to maintain peace, but distrust is expressed towards Britain. London, June 26. Tho Times' Paris correspondent says that the failure of German endeavors to divido Franco and Britain has become evident The opinion in France is growing that both will do well to come to some timely agreement as to how tho peril of German aggression must be warded off.
