OVERCROWDED SCHOOL

Another’case of over crowding in the infant department occurred at St. Alban’s school, where in a room-capable of accommodating 90 children there were 201 on the roll. Mr T. E. Taylor, senior member for Chrißtchurch, who visited the school this afternoon, stated that .strenuous efforts would be made during the coming session to transfer £150,000 of the surplus to the Education vote in order to provide for such cases. „, . ...
