An alteration of boundaries of Woodside school district lod to a remoikoblo development The chairman having ruled that only householders of old boundaries were entitled to voto, Mr C. H. Lupton "it - those who would vote under the new boundaries to follow him. They proceeded into another room. The chairman called a policeman to remove them, hut lie declined to interfero unless a breach of the peace was committed. Two commit.eis wore elected.
Christchurch, last night. The St. Albans School Co’mmitteo has resigned in a body on account of a conflict With tho Eduostion Board re the appointment of a teacher. Tho Board forwarded three names for selection, and tho Committee asked for six. The Board refused and the Committee declined to Tho Board selected a teaoher itself. Tho Committee rust and decided to resign as a protest.
