I The local gram markets continue in I much the same position as in the previous I report. The weather has again contributed Jto the slackness of wheat. The following I sales are recorded : 1000 bushels tuacan at [ 2s 7d at 21d station, 1200 bushels hunters I at 2s 6d at lid station, 2000 bushels hunI ters at 2s 7d at 2d station. Good milling I wheat is quoted at 2s 7d to 2s 9d. The Niwaru took something like 10.000 sacks | from Lyttelton for the English market to complete c.i.f. parcel sales. There is no alteration in the oats market. Sales are recorded of 3000 bushels of Danish at is 3£d at 2d station. 1100 bushels Gastan at Is 6d at 2d station. Potatoes are in domand, and early roue and dorwents-aro fetching £5 to £5 ss. , .
