As a result of tho meeting of Liberal Commoners interested in the colonies, Lord Haldane intends to aßk Mr Balfour for an opportunity of discussing in Parliament tho desirability of making better provision for the continuity and efficiency of the Colonial Conference. The meeting agreed that it is desirable in tho intervals between the conferences to collect materials relating to the general interests of ihe Empire, also to arrange a more systematic and frequent consultation amon the statesmen responsible for the conduot of different parts of tho Empire. The meeting oon suited Sir Frederick Pollock.
