There was a fair j attendance, and the Mayor presided. Mr Millar, who spoke first, while approving of the policy outlined by the Premier, urged caution, as if they went in for proposed it meant a large borrowing policy. Mr Arnold justified the appointment of the Land Commission on the ground that some Land Boards and rangers were not treating Crown tenants properly. A vote of thanks and confidence' in the two members, and confidence in the Government, was passed. 3' - ■■ 4
