(Per Press Association.) Chrietchurch, last night,

There has been a fairly large quantity cf wheat offering during the past few days, mostly in Government side lines, and of a quality suitable for shipment. For this purpose the business done ha 3 largely exceeded that of several weeks past. Amongst sales reported are 500 bushels of sound tuscan at 2s Bd, 2800 bushels hunters at 2s 74d, 2200 bushels hunters at 2s yd, 4000 bushels of hunters at 2s 6.1-8, four lines aggregating 6000 bushels of hunters at 2s 6d, and 550 bushels of tusean at 2s 6d, all at country stations. There is practically nothing doing in oats, and only small lots are being offered. Potatoes are firmer, and jE4 10s is now the ruling price for early rose ami derwents. Kindeys are worth £5. Thete are very few offering, and they are apparently being kept for seed. Onions are in good demand, • and ace quoted at £7 15s to £B,
