(Per Press Association.) Invercargill, last night.

Gore to-day started with much rejoicing and some ceremonial the Borough drainage, water and electric installations, which have boe-n completed. The drainage cost £6177, waterworks £9051, and electric light and power £3SSO. The water is pumped from a well to reservoir 150 feet above the town. The electricity is brought from tho Southland Frozen Moat Coy’s. Works at Mutaura, a distance of eight miles, it beiog cheaply generated by turbine power derived from the fnlls there.
