Mr Hall-Jones, referring to the case I exposed by Mr Taylor iu Christchurch, said the matter would have the immediate attention of Parliament when the House met. Legislation would be introduced providing for a more reasonable time for the commencement of prosecutions in such cases to prevent scoundrels going free, lfie ease where a woman was strangled by a straight waisteoast in a private hospital proved that these institutions required closer inspection by Government officials. -Una would also come before tho House next session.
