CANADDA’S APPEAL.
By Telegraph—Press Assooiation—Copyright Received 9.25 p.m., May 18. Ottawa, May 18. ?>— Canada is appealing against the confiscation of the sealer Agnes Donahoe off Uraquay. Bir Wilfrid Laurier declares that the seizure was made on the high seas and therefore was illegal. The captain was sentenced to three years’ penal servitude, tho mates to one year, and the crew to six months.
