By Telegraph—Preßs Assoolaiion—Copyright * Received 10.41 p.m., May 16, St. Petersburg, May 16. A general strike has occurred at Odessa and a partial strike at Haratoff. There Was a demonstration at Ufa. The crowd carried red and black flags. The Chief of Police, without an escort, summoned the orowd to disperse. He was fired at, whereupon the polioe charged, and fifty arrests were made. Fourteen revolvers and many daggers were seized. Received 11.50 p.m., May 16.
Cossacks at Eketerindoar charged through the public gardens filled with women and children, and whipped demonstrators and onlookers. Many women were wounded,
