FAT COMMISSION OVER MYALL ESTATE.

At the lands enquiry it wa3 disclosed that Willis received £4,236 commission from the vendor in connection with the sale of Myall Creek estate to the Government. Of this Willis declared he gave £I6OO to a gentleman about town who did nothing for it, but was supposed to have a lot of influential friends. The Minister for Lands deposed that he did not know Willis was connected with the transaction until after the purchase.
