MAN LOST.

'(Per Press Associati'en.')’ 1 New Plymouth, last night. A man named King, aged about 28, is missing from Mountain House. On Monday he left tho house at 10 a.m. to attempt the ascent of the mountain, contrary to the oaretaker’s advice. He did not return in the evening. Morris, the caretaker, Bet out to searoh, but had to return owing to the darkness. A farther search is being made. King was recently from England, and was in indifferent health.
