[(Per Press Association.’); PalMerstoD North, last night.

A conference of the Chamber of Commerce and members representing various districts, hold here to-day, decided to secure a site of land to offer to the Government for the erection of a dairy sohool; to ask the Government to appoint a small commission to readjust the educational boundaries of the North Island; and to organise a petition amongst the looal bodies of the North Island to be presented to Parliament early in the session, asking for a special sum to be provided by the way of loan or otherwise for the early completion of the main trunk line.
