Dunedin, last night. Mr E. G. Allen, M.H.R., addressed his constituents at North East Valley tonight, reviewiag items of the past session. He favored an amendment of the Shops’ and Offices' Act, and blamed the Legislative Council for the alterations which had proved so objectionable. He announced that he would seek re-election at ] the general elections. A vote of continued confidence was carried.
