He recognised that main roads were entitled to full consideration, and they would receive his report. A deputation from the Waitara Harbor Board met the Minister and asked for control of the northern foreshore, also for an arrangement of the boundary of the Board’s ares. In regard to the farmer, Mr Hall-Jones said a special Act would no doubt be required, and in reference to. the latter that before an amendment to the Harbors Bill was brought down copies of the proposal would be sent to every Harbor Board so that the position in respect to boundaries and (other masters would be thoroughly understood. • '
