A summoned meeting of the Gisborne Tent, No. 54, 1.0. R., S.U., was held in the Tent room last evening, there being a largo attendance of the members. Bro. T. A. Holdsworth, Chief Ruler, presided. The resignation of Dr dole as Tent Surgeon was received, and it was resolved that the same be accepted with regret, the Tent plaoing on record it 3 appreciation of the services rendered by Dr Cole in the past. It was further decided that Dr Soott be appointed Tent Surgeon as from Ist July next. Bro. R. Hayoook was eleoted to the position of book steward.
