SHOOTING SEASON
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. The shooting season opened very successfully in tho Waikato and adjacent districts. Soveral record bags.of docks were secured, a party of two obtaining no less x than 130 brace in a few hours on Monday at Whangape. Largo bags were also secured in other portions of the district. It is stated that game is more plentiful v this year than for many years pa3t, the birds beiog in excellent condition.
