By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright Sydney, April 29. Mr Beid has issued a manifesto with reference to hie anfci-Socialism policy. He suggesta that meetings be held in all the States on Empire Day for the purpose of forming organisations to be united under the name of the Australian Liberal League, to withstand revolutionary Socialism, and support these principles which will make [ for liberty, loyalty, enterprise, and progress. The platform he suggests that Bhould be adopted should be that of the National Political League, inaugurated at Ballarat some months ago, whose principal planks are opposition to caucus govern, ment and nationalisation of industries, the promotion of economic reforms, fiscal peaoe, encouragement of immigration, the maintenance of eight hours, and industrial development.
