SHEEP SALE.
20,324 SOLD IN HALF AN HOUR.
'(Per Press Association.) Invercargill, last night. At the clearing sale of the Moa Flat sheep to-day 20,324 were disposed of in 30 minutes, the total money value being £17,937. With trifling exception the whole remain in Otago. Bidding was not so brisk as at the Mararoa sale a few weeks ago, and prices were about two shillings back. Wethers, four to six tooth, brought 18s 6d ; fat wethers, 21s 93; half-bred do four-tooth, 16s 6d and 16s ; crossbred do two-tooth, 21s 6d ; orossbred lambs, mixed sexes, 14s 6d ; full-month ewes 19s 6d, four-tooth do 23s 9d ; freez- j ing wetherß, 19s 7d ; half-bred ewes, four- | tooth 22s 6d, do eight-tooth 22s 4d and j 22s ; half-bred wethers, six-tooth 18s 6d 1 and 18s 4d, do lambs 12s 4d.
