TURANGANUI LODGE.
A meeting of tho Turanganui Lodge. U.A.0.D., was held at tho Public Hall. Patutahi, last evening, Bro. L. P. Bullen, A.D., presiding. The Gisborne brethren arrived from town by brake. There was a largo attendance. After tho meeting a harmony evening was spent, when the following toa3t list was gone through:— *• The King ” ; “ The Grand Lodge,” proposed by the A.D., and coupled with the names of Bros. D. Jamison (D.P.), I Miller, A. Wade, and O. Neenan (P.D.P.s),- " Lodge Turanganui,” proposed by Bro. O. Neenan, and coupled with the names of the present officers; “ The Past Officers,” proposed by Bro. J. George--Bon. and coupled with the names of Bros. J. O. Grifien, J. Dower, A. Sawyer, T. Spiers, P. Maher, D. MoKeague, and B. Johnston (P.A.D.s) ; “ Our Country Brethren,” proposed by Bro. B, Johnston, and coupled with the names of Bros. M. Angland, Craill, Fergusson, and Eade ; “ Kin ! dred Societies,” proposed by Bro. Eade, and coupled with the names of B. Atkina and G. Bobb; “Our Newly-loitiated Brethren,” proposed by Bro. B. T. Seymour, and responded to by Bro. Crawford; “ Health to Our Sick Brethren,” proposed by Bros. A. Pickford and Flannagan, and coupled with the name of Bro. Dr Morrison ; “ Our Social Committee,” coupled with the names of Bros. J. Eaton, W. .Gordon, and H. Bright; 11 The Press,” coupled with tho name of Bro. J. Gibson. A whistling solo was contributed by Bro. HalligaD, a recitation by Bro. H. Bright, and songs by Bros. H. Hill, D. West, A. Sawyer, Trent, and others. The singing of ” Auld Lang Syne ” brought a pleasant evening to a cloee.
