NAPIER FRIVOLITY MINSTRELS.

HIS MAJESTY’S TO-NIGHT. SfSßKi&Wfr There should b 8 a crowded house at His Majesty’s to-Dight when the Napier Frivolity Minßtrels will present one of their charming entertainments. The company number over 40 all told, and include a full and complete orchestra under the baton of Mr J. A. Stevens. The “ Friv’e,” as they are commonly called, are now in their ninth year of organisation, and have probably more talent in their ranks at the presont time than at any period of their existence. The Hawke’s Bay Herald says:—“ The Frivolity Minstrels gave one of their popular' entertainments at th Princess Theatre, Hastings, to one of the largest houses that has been seen in the theatre, even standing room being unobtainable. The programme was received with every manifestation of approval by the large audience. The local hits were well received, and every item of a long programme was encored. The corner men were very happy in their joko3 and business, and the songs and sketches in the second part were well up to the ' Friv’s’ standard. Tho selections by the orchestra, numbering over 20 performers, under the direction of Mr J. A. Stevens, w re i- rtainly a special feature of a cap .al gramme.”
