WHEAT MARKET DULL-

Christchurch, last night, I The wheat market continues quiet, and j there are very few buyers, farmers who J were- in town on Wednesday failing to disI pose of their grain, while other lines have I changed hands. During the past day or two good milling wheat has been bought as I low as 2s 7d at country stations, and from I 2s lOd to 2s llld delivered at the mills. Advices received in the city from London ! this morning state that the English wheat market is lifeless, buyers holding off till after the holidays. Oats continue easier, in view of the fact that the Southland crop, which has been I harvested in excellent condition, will I shortly be placed on the market Gartons f are quoted at Is 5d to Is 6d, and Danish at J la 3d to Is 4d, at country stations. .
