By Telegraph—Press Assooiation—Copyflghi Sydney, April 19. Fourtsen of the Brynhilda’s crew have boon arrested on a charge of neglecting duty.
Tbo Brynhilda men were charged with combining to negiect duty. Tho captain gave ovidonco that the men refused duty in a body, dcciuring that tbo vessel was unseaworthy, and tho riggiDg rotten. They demanded return to tbe nearest port. The mate stated that at the time of refusal the weather was bad on a leeshoio. Both witnesses considered tbe ship Beaworthy. * One of tbo accused gave eyideoce that the sails carried uway because tho rigging was rotten. There was no Eparo rope aboard, and no life lines on the decks, which were full of water up to tho rails with the ports open. They only refused the ordinary/ work ; if there had been any danger would have turned to. Subsequently tho captain offered tbs crew £1 a month exitra if they would take tho ship home, but [the men declined. Tho case is unfinished.;
