EMPLOYEES BEGIN TO TALK.
j [(Per Press 'Association.) j Wellington, last night. The Shop Assistants’ Association unanimously carried the following resolutions : “ That the shop assistants demand that Government shall without farther delay enforce the provisions of the Shops and Offices Act, 1904, and, further, this Association expresses intense dissatisfaction at the inactivity and pusillanimity of the Government and responsible officials in non-detection of and prosoontion in numerous breaches of the Act now prevalent in Wellington district.”
