GISBORNE BICYCLE CLUB
EASTER ROAD RACE. The recently formed Gisborne Clyele Club have all arrangements well in hand for their road race, to be held on Easter Monday afternoon. Starting from the Whataupoko Bridge tho riders will travel by way of Ormond road to tho Makauri oorner, then across to Gladstone Road, finishing at the firebell. Given fine weather, the roadß should be in excellent order, and as the distance is not too great, about 11J- miles, some very good times should bs recorded. The following are the handicaps declared:—A. W. Elliott scratch, B. Byron 30secs, H. Anderson 50seos, C. Drummond 503ecs, J. Drummond 50secB, J. Stewart 60secs, A. Morris 60secs, A. Bennett ljmins, A. Davis H. Butter worth lamias, J. Kane 2mins, J. Haache 2mins, H. Lord 4mins. Ths race will be got off punctually, the limit man being sent away sharply at 3 p.m.
