THE TEN-STONE CREW CONTEST (By “ Outrigger.”) The race between the ten-stone orews of the two clubs, Poverty Bay and Gisborne, was rqwed off last night. The two crews got off fairly well together, but unfortunately, soon after the Blatt, the two boats came into collision. The Gisborne crow got away the quickest, and pulling well together soon established a good lead and came in first, by about ,Bi2f lengths.' The Poverty Bay crew, however, entered a protest, and it was decided to row the race over again to-night.
