I Christchurch, last night. | A second man alleged to have been I implicated in the burglary at the Amberley railway station on Sunday morning last was arreßted by Detectives Kennedy and O’Connell this morning, Tho man arrested is supposed to have been in the company of John Hayes, who is at present in custody in connection with the same j matter. It ba9 been ascertained that both men were together during the period that the offence is supposed to have occurred. I It is understood that the police feel satis- I fied that the men now in cnstody had to do with the breaking into the Amberley station. The detectives are still continuing tbeir investigations.
