I Bannerman, tbo cricketrr. has returned I from New Zealand.:- Ho said he did not j consider the New Zealand cricket team I the best combination that could have been got together. The team 'did not play up [ to anything-like form, the (bowlers not receiving proper support. Referring to tho condition of cricket in New Zealand, he said that the want of a district system was badly felt. If tho system was established I there would be an increase’c,f interest in i the matches, which would load to more * playiDg grounds being established.
