CASE AGAINST MITCHELSON DISMISSED.
I (Per Press Association.) I Auckland, last night. Tho ease in which the Hod. B. Miteholsou. Mayor of Auckland, was charged with assaulting William Richardson duriDg a see no at the conclusion of tho Premier’s recent public meeting, was concluded to day. the caso being dismissed. Mr McCarthy, S.M., held that tbe Eou. Mr Mitchelson was bnna fido iu bis action and reasonable. Richardson refused to obey the ruling of the chair, and Miteheison stated that his reason for removing him was purely for tbe sake of preserving ' order.
Costs amounting to ,£8 11s were, given against informant.
