Eadie’s Hotel at Omakau was eniiroly destroyed by fire early this morning. Tho loss is estimated at £I2OO. fThe building and furnituro were insured in the Manchester office for £650. Eadie is said to have lost £6O in notes.
I Unity shares have been sold on ’Change I at 3s 6d. The annual ram and ewe fair was held to-day at“ Burnside. Above 510 were penned in Bordor-Leicestcrs. The demand for both stud and flock rams was good, and nearly every head sold, studs realising up to 6£gns and flocks up to ssgns. Romney Marsh, old, sold at from 3 to lOgns. Corriedales were in request, studs fetching np to Sgns, and flocks up to sgns.
