APPEAL COURT.

(Eec Er*ss ’Association.); Wellington, yesterday. The Appeal Court heard argument in the reserved case, the King v. Austin. The case was heard before Judge Denniston, accused being convicted of supplying a woman with drugs for an improper purpose. The question was whether the administration to the woman of a thing which was really harmless, though with intootion to procure a miscarriage, was an offence within the meaning of section 203 of the Criminal Code. Judgment was reserved.
