LEADER OF OPPOSITION REPLIES . TO PREMIER. * J

(Pen Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Mr Massey, leader of the Opposition, addressed a large meetipg of Marsden electors in the Masonio Hall at Warkworth on Monday night. He traversed the Premier’s Dargavilla and Whangarei speeches at length. -His remarks were frequently applauded, especially when advocating the freehold tenure. Mr Mander, M.H.8., was present. Mr French proposed a vote of thanks. He said the colony.was proud of such a representative. Mr C. Gray seconded the vote, whioh was carried unanimously. Mr T. A. Grubb proposed “ That the electors of this district feel cause for congratulation for having assisted in sending Mr Massey to Parliament sleven gears ago, and express their high appreciation of his honorable services.” - Tho motion was oarried- with applause.
