j INTERVIEWED AT WAIKATO. I (Per Press Association.) I Hamilton, last night. I The Hon. J. Carrol), who arrived here on Friday night from Kawhia, interviewed by the Waikato Times, said that [ the question of dealing with noxious weeds, would have to bo considered as a whole, and dealt with comprehensively. As regards settled lands, Crown land and Native lands, he intended to confer with the more intelligent of the native people with a view Of finding a method of coping with weods on native land.

Mr Carroll proceeded to Rotorua yesterday. He will remain there a fortnight, then return to Auckland, and immediately sail for Gisborne.
