Molbourno, March 9. The racehorse Seahorse (recently sold) goes to America. Mr Tavornor fa surprised at being censured by Mr Bent for his hasty departure from Australia. Though ho considered his offioial business closod, he had iutondod to return to Melbourne to farewell the Premier, only the sudden illness and tho dootor’s orders prevented him. If Mr Bent had desired to stop his departure ho could havo telographod after receipt of Mr Taverner's letter of January 22nd. Received 12.1 a.m., March 10. Melbourne, Maroh^. The hide market was unchanged. Extra stout brought 7d to Bd, stout 6}d to 7d, hoavieß 5d to s£d, average and medium 4t)d to 5d.. Tallow showed- a further improvement. Tho quotations for prime mixed 21s, good mixed 20s.
