LONDON WOOL SALES.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Morob 7. The wool sales opened dull, with a -decline of from par to 7£ per cont. New Zealand Mortgage Company 4± per cent, debentures are at 90.
The N.Z, Loan and Mercantile AgencyCompany yesterday received the following cablegram from their London' office: — Wool: As compared with last sales’ closing rates, prices are lower for medium and inferior merino, also fine crossbred, about par to 5 per cent., and for coarso and medium crossbred about 5 to 74- per cent, lower. Competition by both home and foreign buyers is fairly aotive.
