METHODIST CONFERENCE.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. At tho Methodist Conforenoo. wish one
exception, the probationers were passed in their respective years. The Bovs. Cook, EatOD, and Boader were ordained ministers. Messrs Blair, Cox, Maslin, Bands, McArthur, Richards, and Williams were accepted as candidates for probation. Mr .Williams is to be appointed to a oirooit. The Bev. L. Hudson, of Queensland, returns to New Zealand in exohange for the Rev. S. F. Prior, Invercargill. The Bev. A. S. Seasner was appointed assistant to I the Bev. W. Gittos in Maori missions. Owing to the voluntary resignation of the Bsv. S. Barnett, Pahiatna, the Bev. J. S. Kmalley was made permanent, supernumerary and the Bev. W. Baumber supernumerary. The Bovs. J. H. Sim monds and J. Dukes, who are visiting I England, were appointed oo representatives to the British Conference. The Bev. I C. H. Laws, 8.A., received permission to j visit England in 1906. The Bovs. E. W. and L. M. Isitt continue as ministers with- 1 ont pastoral oharge. I The representatives to the Conference agreed to the Auckland Synod’s reoom- I mondotion re the amalgamation of the I Pitf Street and. Grafton Road circuits. Discussion on tho alteration of circuit boundaries in North Canterbury was ad- I: journed. , ' I ■ Additional probationers are to be appointed ‘at New Plymouth, AshburtoD, Dunedin (Cargill road), Levin, and Otaki oiroults. , ( In connection with extension in Dun- I edin, the Bev.
