Dr Danvtz, of the Pasteur Institute, Paris, has written to the Premier stating that it will be necessary to establish a permanent institution for' the cultivation of pathogenic microbes for rabbits, to toach graziers and farmers how to apply them on a large soale. He has offered to send a student to make some experiments for about £IOOO. In reply to a query whether he would oome himself, he states ho might be able to oome in April for six months, but his foo, would be £6OO per month from the time of leaving Paris to his return. The Premier has communicated the letter to the other States, seeking their co-opera-tion.
