There should be largo congregations at both seryioes. Ou sovoral occasions of late we have received complaints in regard to the practice of driving round corners at other than a walking paco, and it is pleasing to roo that steps aro being token by the polioe to see that tho borough by-laws aro observed. Quito a number of parents and othors have intimated to the promoters their willingness to enter their babies and others for the competitions, and by this it is expootod that there will be a much larger show than on the. last occasion, and tho show itself will be more to see. The first part of the evening will be set aside for the European babies and competitions, which will be entirely different to tho last, also all new fun from the boysl The second half of the programme will be for Maories only to oompete in the baby show and other items, and wbioh will be all different to the European part of the show. Tho entertainment will finish with tho Maori boys bringing the night’s amusement to a olose.
