Per Presa Association. Wairoa, yesterday. The passengers landing yesterday in the Tuntu from the Tangaroa had an unpleasant experience. A great-part of the deck was occupied with sheep aud a bull. The passengers bad in their midst a coffin containing a Maori girl who had died of consumption. The coffin bad been closed about a week, and it leaked, aud its contents ran along the deck. The wharf authorities refused to let it laud until the police had been sent for. The Maoris are now holding a tangi over the girl at Waihirere pah, near town.
