In the mile raoe Shrubb led all the way, beating Blake easily by 20 yards in 4.29}. The four miles handicap resulted : Shrubb, ; sor, 1; Blake, 180yds. 2. Shrubb won by 200 yards, the time being 20.43 2-6. Hundred yards handicap : Duffy, sbr,' 1; Widmer, Sydney,'ifyd, 2; Mueller, Vie- I toria, Iyd, 3. Won by two inches, with I Mueller a few inches pway. Time, 101-10. I Boooived 5.28 p m., Feb 26tb. I At the Athletic Champion meeting the I throwing of the hammer was won by I Harry, Melbourne, 87 feet 7 inches. Pole I vault : Pattison, Bendigo, 9 feet 6 inohes. I Broad jump: Mueller, 21 feet } inoh. I Widmer won the 440 yards ohampionship j in 53 secs. I
